CSL has two nominee Directors representing Government of India and Government of Kerala, who are appointed by the President of India through Ministry of Shipping, Government of India until further orders. No remuneration is paid to the Government Nominee Directors.

Terms and Conditions of appointment of Non Official Part Time Directors (Independent Directors)

Non Official Part Time Directors (Independent Directors) of Cochin Shipyard Ltd are appointed by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India for a period of three years. The terms and conditions of appointment are as follows: 1. The Non Official Part Time Directors are paid sitting fees at the rate of Rs. 15,000 for attending each meeting of the Board or Committee thereof. 2. Reimbursement of travelling /accommodation expenses for participation in the Board and other committee meetings.
